HEAVY METAL KIDS. Camden Underworld. D.V.D.

15 minutes of fame! Now here's something I disagree with. Some get more, some get less. Thankfully for the likes of us, the good 'ol' H.M.K. have had & will hopefully continue to have, many more minutes.
ME? I've had bugger all, absolutely jack shit. In fact, the closest any of my family came to gaining any sort of noteriety was way back in the mists of time. An old female family member of mine ran a rather spiffy knocking shop in the U. S. of A & was the actual inspiration behind the character Belle Watling in the movie 'Gone with the wind' I jest ye not my dears.
Fast forward to the present day & yours truly finally gets his name in lights (well actually, it's on the back of a dvd cover) but what the hell it's there. For those fine fellows the Heavy Metal Kids have used some of the dodgy snaps from this blog on their latest release.
Which, my sweet little cherubs, is the reason we are here.
Check out the previous post of this gig right here at Tightpocket towers, for this is where you saw it first.

'Twas the night when our Phil, or Mr Lewis to his friends did the dandiest of jobs in filling the boots of the late great Gary Holton.
I was as giddy as a giddy schoolgirl from giddytown on an exceedingly giddy day, when this little beauty dropped through the letterbox. As it was a weekend, Madame Tightpocket & myself invested in a large case of beer, dimmed down the lights & re-lived that magical evening in Camden......several times.
All credit to the people who filmed this fantastic show, for they have captured the very essence of that night. It's not slick & polished like some big budget offering, but that's what actually makes it work. The dungeon like qualities of the Camden Underworld twinned with this dynamic & dare I say it... explosive set from the Heavy Metal Kids come across quite beautifully. The whole gig is here along with some bonus footage from 2 previous shows in Croatia. If you, like us, were at this show this is one hell of an essential purchase. If you weren't there, even more reason to purchase, to witness how Phil Lewis, who seems to have found his comfort zone with L.A. guns, upped his game tenfold when performing with his boyhood heroes.
Me? I get to witness Cosmos' solo during 'It's the same', whenever the hell I bloody want.
Which leaves me dear reader, to offer the oft' spoken words of a now long departed relative of mine.
                                                        GET IT HERE!

As a wee prezzy to you all, here's a few snaps from that show in slightly higher rez than previously posted.
  ENJOY.
